Randall J. Friend, Esq., Founder and Managing Partner

Focused on the acquisition and asset management division, which also handles dispositions and investor and capital partner relations, Mr. Friend is a licensed attorney and real estate broker in the State of California. He earned a Masters of Law in Taxation (LLM) from New York University in 1987 after receiving his Juris Doctor from California Western Law School in 1986 Cum Laude. Utilizing his diverse education, Mr. Friend's career has included practicing law focused on real property and taxation as a sole practitioner and in the Los Angeles office of the real estate law firm of Allen, Matkins, Leck, Gamble & Mallory. Prior to founding Eagle Real Estate Group, he also owned Friend Development where he was responsible for all aspects of developing many multifamily communities. Mr. Friend is a member of the Federal District Court and U.S. Court of Claims. He has served as a director of several companies and non-profit organizations.

H. Gordon MacKenzie, Partner

Leading Eagle's construction division, Mr. MacKenzie brings more than 30 years of residential and commercial development experience throughout North America. For the last 20 years, he has concentrated on development in Southern California. Prior to becoming a partner of Eagle Real Estate Group, Mr. MacKenzie was the President and CEO of Polygon Development, a commercial real estate developer of more than 200 million in assets throughout Southern California. Some of Mr. MacKenzie's greatest career achievements include his 20-year tenure as President of Brookfield Commercial Properties with asset value of $1.2 billion. Mr. MacKenzie lead Brookfield's development of the award-winning Scripps Ranch, a 1,200-acre master-planned community in San Diego County. Mr. MacKenzie is a director of McMillin Capital, American Cancer Society and numerous other non-profit organizations.
