ADMINISTRATION

JoAnn T. Fox
Office Manager and Executive Assistant

JoAnn T. Fox, Office Manager and Executive Assistant for Eagle Real Estate Group brings to the company an extensive history in executive administration and office management. Before joining Eagle, Ms. Fox worked for Catalina Marketing where she managed both the Anaheim and Dallas offices and supported the Senior Vice President of Business Development. Ms. Fox also served as the Office Manager and Executive Assistant to the CEO of Aqueduct, Inc., an extension of the online shopping site, Buy.com where she also supported the entire executive staff including, Marketing, Sales, Operations, Finance and Technology. Ms. Fox’s responsibilities at Eagle Real Estate Group includes, managing the office and administrative staff, as well as being the Executive Assistant to the founder and managing partner, Randall J. Friend. Esq. Her responsibilities also include managing the Human Resources department and IT department wherein she developed and administers Eagle’s online Investor Portal. Ms. Fox has served on the Homeowners Association board for Eagle’s Sedona condominium conversion project and was the liaison between the Association, Sales and Marketing office.

Ms. Fox has a Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design and is a Notary Public for the State California. Her work was demonstrated in the interior set-up of Eagle’s Sedona condominium.


ASSET MANAGMENT

David C. Whitmore
Senior Vice President

David C. Whitmore’s professional experience includes twenty-one years in the multifamily real estate industry.  Mr. Whitmore has been responsible for the operating results of over 15,000 apartments at locations throughout California and Nevada. He began his property management career in 1985 by joining Western National Property Management where he was Vice President and was responsible for the operating results of over 8,500 apartments throughout Orange, Los Angeles, San Bernardino, Riverside and Ventura Counties.  Mr. Whitmore has also been responsible for assisting in the acquisition of over 5,000 apartment units including 1,400 units of Bond and Tax Credit financed apartments.  He successfully repositioned these under-managed assets through strategic rehabilitation planning, improved customer service and distinct marketing strategies. He planned and successfully completed the lease-up of over 900 new apartments. Mr. Whitmore also assisted in the acquisition of apartment communities which were then renovated and converted to condominiums for sale.

Mr. Whitmore is Past Chairman of the Abalone Cove Landslide Abatement District, Past President of the Peninsula Center Merchants Association and Executive Member of the Apartment Association of Orange County.  He is a licensed California Department of Real Estate Broker.


CONSTRUCTION

James M. Brown
Construction Manager

James M. Brown is a licensed general contractor and has over 25 years of experience in the real estate construction industry.  Commencing in 1990, Mr. Brown narrowed his focus to the multifamily industry where he worked with the Konwiser Corporporation and Pacific Gulf Properties (PGP Reit) overseeing multiple properties in the day-to-day physical operations.  During this time, he was also actively involved in asset repositions and capital improvement programs for over 1,500 units.  In 2000, he joined Eagle Real Estate Group as the Construction Manager and earned his general contractor’s license in early 2006.  While at Eagle, Mr. Brown’s supervisory responsibilities have included oversight of over $20,000,000 in capital improvements and over 15 properties, totally more than 3,600 units, including a 560-unit condo conversion in Las Vegas.


FINANCE

Jose L. Sanchez
Chief Financial Officer

Jose L. Sanchez, Chief Financial Officer of Eagle Real Estate Group, is responsible for corporate and project finance, accounting and financial reporting, tax, investor reporting and risk management.  Prior to joining Eagle, Mr. Sanchez’ held the position of Director of Strategic Planning for the Office Properties at The Irvine Company, a leading real estate developer in Orange County specializing in multi-family communities and commercial properties.  Other career highlights include a Senior Asset Management role at Edison Capital, a direct investor of affordable multi-family projects throughout the United States and an Assistant Controller role at Lennar Partners, a leading development company of commercial and residential ventures.   In addition, Mr. Sanchez gained operations experience while working at Western National Group, one of the largest owners/managers in the country of multi-family properties with a portfolio of over 36,000 units throughout California.   Mr. Sanchez began his accounting career at Trammell Crow Company. 

Mr. Sanchez earned an Executive M.B.A. from Chapman University in 2002 after receiving his B.A. from California State University Fullerton (Accounting) in 1995.
